Obituary for Nettie Belle Vaughn (England)

Nettie Belle England Vaughn, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at Grandview Health Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Piedmont Baptist Church in Cobb Co. She was a lifelong resident of Smyrna, GA and was active in all women's ministry at Smyrna Second Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2009, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Ike Reighard officiating. Interment will follow in Arbor Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman O. Vaughn and great grandchildren, Tamara Vaughn, Brittany Moore and Kody Moore. Survivors include her son, Billy (Sherry) Vaughn, Centre, AL; daughters, Brenda (John C.) Shearer and Joann (Joe) Bell, both of Woodstock; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and until the funeral hour on Saturday.
