Condolences

Condolence From: Autumn B
Condolence: Thomas Family, I am very sorry for your loss. I would like to share a scripture that that I hope brings you some comfort. "When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping, he groaned within himself and became troubled."-John 11:33. Jesus was pained to see his disciples mourn the loss of Lazarus. Since Jesus is a perfect reflection of his Father, we can be sure that God is also pained to see us grieve over the loss of our loved ones. God eagerly anticipates the time when he will bring his servants back to life, and we should too!

Condolence From: Danielle Dean
Condolence: I wanted to express my most sincere and deepest sympathy for your loss. I've lost many whom I love and I've found much comfort in the Bible. Second Corinthians 1:3,4 tells us that God is the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our tribulations. He promises us that there will soon come a time when "He will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more!"-Revelation 21:4. When you feel up to it, maybe you'd like to read these passages in your copy of the Bible: John 5:28,29, Acts 24:15, and Psalm 37:9-11. They truly helped me to cope during this most difficult time, and I hope that they will comfort you also!
