Condolence: My sincere sympathy to the family and friends. I spent a number of hours with Richard while he was flight instructing at Cherokee Airport. He gave a complete and detailed checkout and I respected his skill as a pilot and teacher. He will be missed

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Richards death. We grew up on the same street in Wadesboro. As paths take you in different directions you loose touch. It is obvious he had a loving and caring family. You are all in my prayers. May your memories give you comfort.

Condolence: I am saddened by the news of the passing of my cousin, Richard. When all of us cousins were much younger, we enjoyed many family gatherings at Grandma Haywood's home in Mount Gilead, NC. While I have not seen Richard in many years, I still feel the family connection. Peace to all.

Condolence: So long for now buddy, I will miss you, but I will see you again.

You where the cousin I spent the most time with, since my family lived with yours while my dad was in Alaska in the early 1950's.

I remember playing with you at Grandma's in Mt Gilead, and always getting in trouble with you .... it just always worked out like that it seems. It was great fun.

I remember running up to your dad's barber shop in Wadesboro and getting a free coca cola each day, we where "cool" with our cokes. or so we thought. And I remember listening to the men talk at the barber shop. Then, as always, grandpa would say "alright, you boys, get out of here, and go play" ... and we would leave and have fun all over Wadesboro.

I remember going and picking up the scraps from the restaurants each evening with your dad and then feeding them to all of grandpa's hunting dogs, it was so much fun, as the dogs always got into fights which excited as as 4-6 year old boys.

Your journey is complete, no more Pressing Into the Kingdom, you are there. Praise the Lord Jesus.

Jim Rogers
cousin, friend, "brother", companion in our younger days.

Condolence: I love you and we miss you Dad! You'll be happy to know the falcons won today. We'll meet again someday but until then I'll never forget what you've done for us, how good you were to us, or what you've taught us.
