Condolences

Condolence From: Tyler Boger
Condolence: I was in Mr. White's first class at E.T. booth. He took over for Mrs. Wilder as she left to have her baby. At first I was unsure of a new young teacher, but Mr. White took me under his wing. I know I gave him a hard time the first month or so. Then somehow we clicked. He became a role model. He lived his life with passion and compassion. I miss him dearly. The past few days I have been thinking about him and just wish I could say thank you for the time he shared with me. He means a lot to the person I am today.

Condolence From: Nour Barghouthi
Condolence: I have been one of Mr. White's many students. Him as our teacher will have always been the best time together. As I haven't known him all that well, I do understand his family will never forget his pure, heart felt memory. I hope with all my heart that his family also understands that his students have been greatly affected by his death. I pray with everything I believe in that he did not suffer more than what should have been. His voice and love will always reside in mine, and many others hearts. Love, Nour Barghouthi

Condolence From: VScott
Condolence: It is a painful thing to lose a precious love one in death, especially when they are so young. Our loving Heavenly Father did not purposed his human family to die but purposed us to live and enjoy life. It is still his purpose. He calls death an enemy that will be removed forever__1 Corinthians 15:26 “the last enemy, Death, is to be brought to nothing”;Isaiah 25:8. He promise to awaken our love one in the memorial tombs from asleep in death__Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead will rise ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." What a delight it will be to see them again! Allow these words to keep comforting all of you.

Condolence From: The Boettcher Family
Condolence: We're still recovering from the news. Mr. White was a true blessing to my wife and I and all 3 of our children who not just had him in Chorus, but were encouraged and inspired by him. Especially my daughter Lucy Boettcher who also tragically died in a car accident 2 days before her graduation in 2014. When she was Mr.White’s student in 8th grade he spearheaded a fundraiser to help her go to Disney World. He blessed our family again and again with his kind words and actions. He is a beautiful soul.

Condolence From: Christina Bridges
Condolence: Mr. White's smile was so infectious and happy. My daughters loved him so much. I was a chaperone on LPGE twice and was so warmed by the way he joked and laughed with the students and how happy they were with him. He always made them feel special and loved. At the same time they really respected him as a teacher and gave him their all. He got great performances out of them because his love of music was genuine and infectious. The world has lost a truly great teacher and a wonderful person. He always spoke so lovingly of his wife and daughter. He will be greatly missed but what a legacy he left behind! I know he's adding a lot of music and laughter to heaven.

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear this. Kevin gave me voice lessons in middle school and was a genuinely FUN person to be around! Although I haven't seen him probably 10 years, I vividly remember several things he taught me, whether it be music related, or life lessons. My favorite memory is of him singing with the praise team at First Baptist Canton. I can still hear his voice clearly in my mind! I am so sorry for your loss... But what an AMAZING legacy he left behind! Praying often for you all.

Condolence: We are so sorry for your loss. We only knew Mr. White since the beginning of the school year, but he very quickly became Ava's favorite teacher. She was always talking about him, his humor, his talent and his care for his students and his love for his family. I always enjoyed his emails, he covered the necessary topics and then always had family news and or humor. Ava and I enjoyed hearing him sing with the Cherokee Chorale for their Christmas concert. Heaven has gained an awesome choir member. He definitely walked the talk, he will be greatly missed by many, he touched so many lives, young and old. Good bye, Mr. White,we will miss you!

Condolence From: Cinde & Brad Grantham
Condolence: On behalf of our family, we want to send our condolences to you Courtney and Piper and all of Kevin's family members. Kevins purpose clearly was to teach and impact students in a way that helped engage them in learning and make school enjoyable. Our daughter Kendall talked about Mr White all the time and begged us to move back to GA so she could take chorus again with Kevin. She even told us how he picked on her and called her by her middle name ( he was the only one who could get away with that)😂 Kevin was a ray of sunshine and made everyone feel good about them selves. There are not enough words to change what happened, but we are so grateful to him for making a difference in our daughters life and the lives of so many others. God Bless you. Love the Granthams

Condolence: We lost a might man of God, a son, a husband, a father, a teacher, instructor and friend. He touched the lives of every student he encountered and planted the seed of music. Over many years we have seen the fruit of his planting. Only one word I can use to describe his person. "AMAZING." Well Done Good and Faithful Servant. Kevin always spoke so highly of you and how you are the reason he was able to spend so much time with the kids at ET Booth. My daughter Aneisa has learned so much from him and my son Ethan who smiles so little. Kevin said don't worry I will make him laugh and he did. Ethan loves chorus. Thank you Courtney for being so selfless to share your husband with us.

Condolence From: Jackie & Jeff Sandora
Condolence: We want to extend our deepest sympathies to Courtney and Piper, Kevin's parents, family and friends. Mr. White made a lasting impact on our daughter, Abbie. He was a shining light in her day. He shared his life so authentically with the students and they related so well to him. They felt like they were a part of his family. He gave life lessons in everything he taught. Everything had meaning and reason. He made them laugh with his stories and jokes. On Thursday, he told them the meaning of his name and called himself a 'peaceful, white olive'. They laughed... And now they cry... He was a good and faithful servant and his purpose was great. Abbie will never forget him and we will now never forget to tell all teachers that impact our children's lives how much we appreciate them. Our regret is that we didn't tell Kevin enough how much he impacted Abbie's. God bless you and keep you.

Condolence From: Zachary Jordan
Condolence: I was honestly speechless when I found out Kevin White had passed away. He was such a kind and caring man, and I couldn't believe he had passed in such a terrible way. He had been dealt a lot of crappy cards in his life, but he always took them in stride. He never let them hold him down, and that's one of the reasons why he was such a good teacher. He was so smart and funny and understanding. He made every student in his class feel special. Every day I spent with him in that cramped room, was the highlight of my time at ET Booth. He is survived by his wife and daughter, but his memory will also live on through me and everyone else he touched in his 37 years here on earth. May you rest in peace.
