James E. Hopkins, age 90, of Canton, GA passed away Saturday, August 05, 2017 at Seasons Hospice. He served his Lord as a Baptist Minister and his country in the U. S. Navy. Mr. Hopkins graduated from Howard Payne University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Forth Worth, Texas.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, on Tuesday, August 08, 2017, from the First Baptist Canton with David Kline officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery on Wednesday, August 09, 2017 at 10:30 AM.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Monday, August 07, 2017 at the South Canton Funeral Home.

Children - Renee Kline - Canton
Craig Hopkins - Wimberley, TX
Grandchildren - Laurie Brescia, Danner Kline, Lindsay Barker, Katie Hopkins and Erin Hopkins
Great Grandchildren - 8
