The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Southern can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Kathy and Darryl Mayo
Condolence: Darryl and I used to live across the street from your parents on Bascomb Carmel Rd.....in fact, we still live there. I remember how kind James was and how he looked after me when Darryl was working late at nite. I will never forget his telling me to turn my outside lights off and on several times if I was in trouble and as he said "Ole James will be right there." Such a kind man! Our prayers are with you all at this time.
