Mildred Jeannette  Welchel (Fowler)
Mildred Jeannette Welchel, age 81, of Rome, GA passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at her residence. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She worked at West Point Pepperell Mill for 25+ years before retiring, but her family was her greatest accomplishment.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Thursday, March 22, 2018, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Don Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow at New Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 21, 2018, and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by, Sisters: Evelyn Callahan and Louise McEntyre

Survivors include:
Husband - Bobby Welchel
Son - Rick (Sue) Welchel
Son - Tim (Tanya) Welchel
Son - Steve (Susan) Welchel
Daughter - Phyllis (Terry) Tolbert
Son - Chris (Teresa) Welchel
Son - Wayne (Lori) Welchel
Sister - Margaret Sexton
14 - Grandchildren
20 - Great Grandchildren
Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other friends and family also survive.
