Im sorry

I met Mr Bramlett in the 7th grade at ET Booth.  This was around 1984 or so.  It was a bad time for me and unfortunately I did some bad things to Mr Bramlett.  I just didn't get his lectures or had the slightest bit of interest in reading 1984.  I shouldn't have been in the 7th grade that year but was forced into it anyways.  I ended up repeating it because I failed every class all year long.  ANyways I took out my frustration on Mr Bramlett by making prank phone calls to his house and leaving nasty messages.  I thought I was invincible but little did I know the calls were being traced and one day I found myself in the principal's office.  I honestly don't remember what happened.  I'm quite sure I didn't show remorse or even know if I could.  Well I'd say 20-25 years after that I came across him on Facebook I think.  I was working for the White House at the time and arranged for him and his class to have a tour of the west wing.  It was the least I could do to make up for what I did all those years ago.  I apologized profusely and I think he accepted it.  As I've aged, history has become so much more interesting to read about.  I just wish I was mature enough to have appreciated him when he was my teacher.
